HOT WATER CIRCULATING PUMPS                     (Use soft water only) 

If you’re home has a hot water cir. Pump installed by the water heater do not shut it off the water to the heater until the power supply is shut off.  It is very important to have a water softener if you have a cur. Ump.  If the water is not softened, scale can build up on the rotor of the cir. Pump and burn it out.  If this occurs because of hard water, the rotor is not covered under warranty.  Be sure to unplug the power supply to the pump before closing the main valve or the valve feeding the water heater.  Plug the pump back in after water is turned on.
